I know I'm gonna catch a ton of flack for this. I have a fresh rebuilt NT 4G63. Recently acquired a T25 w/ manifold from a Galant. Yes I am going low boost on a NT. Flame on. I just need some info to go along with the flaming.

Are 1G and 2G (14b,T25) oil feed and return lines interchangeable? If not how can I make it work?
Are the 02 housings interchangeable? Hopefully?

Any help is appreciated. I did try searching but I can't find any info on people doing this that seems like solid info.

Snag that 1990 ecu right away!!!! I sold my 1990 ecu for $100 because it's much easier to put another 1990 ecu in your car if the caps eat the board than it is to do the work to get a 1991+ inthere and working properly.

did you actually see a stock 1g bypass valve for $10. They are in high demand since they can be modified to seal over 35psi of boost! Buy that sucker ASAP too. I sold one of my extra ones for $40.

All 1g talon/eclipse/laser turbo maf is the same. The galant vr4 maf pligs in like a 1g maf. But comes from the factory with the lower honeycomb already removed. This will actually HELP you if you want to run a turbo ecu and use the stock higher fuel pressure of the n/t FPR. Since the fuel pressure is higher the 450s will flow more. Since the maf with no lower honeycomb sees a little lower herzt counts for the same airflow. Then you can get nearly deadon fuel trims while running higher flow at the injector. 47psi will put 450s at about 470cc of flow. 450s with the 5speed ecu flow 415cc with the stock 5speec 37psi FPR. This is 13% more fuel flow. And the hacked (no lower honeycomb) maf will read about 10% lower. If you're running a little richer than you would like with the 450s with the n/t regulator, pull out the lower honeycomb.

Really?

Stock wastegate pressure or your boost w/ the BCS hooked up?

Most reading I'm seeing is it is roughly 8 psi and by the time it actually makes it to the motor I'd be seeing 6-7.

And I would recommend doing it properly w/ a turbo ecu, harness, maf, knock sensor, injectors, etc. But I have turboed my escort before with same boost, higher compression and a worse fuel system and never had any major concerns

im sorry bcs removed, maybe thats why i had 10 LOL

edit: then again i read that 1gs only have like 6-7 stock

That above 13g of mine with a line from the jpipe nipple straight to actuator see 10psi. It actually sees that boost freereving in neutral too ;) . . .

Stock 2Gs are supposed to have 12-14psi from the factory. Stock 1Gs 8-10. This means that it's entirely possible that the wastegate pressure for the t25 is probably a little higher than the 1g turbos.
