anyone ever put on new side tension cables? if so how the hell did you get them threw the little slit in the top? im tired of listening to the wind threw the flaps. and not to mention its getting freezing at night

I did mine using a wire hanger from the closet. Shaped it to what i needed and it worked like a charm

i was thinking about that but they are also kinda sharp on the ends. did you file it down to make it smooth or anything? or maybe one of those plastic coated hangers would work better?

You could always bend one of the end around so its not sharp. Just a thought. Ive never had to do this so I dont know exactly what info or advise to give you

I actually did what was mentioned above. You can try the other hanger it may work better for you.
