swaping 1 G auto to manual ,injectors and ecu question?

hi guys ,
need some valuable advices on a swap from auto to manual .i have dun the transmision swap ,rear diffrential ,clutch cylinders,pedals assembly,turbo 14b.

my question is the injectors on auto is 390cc ,if i do a 450cc swap do i have to install manual ecu ,n if i do install manual ecu i jus need to plug it in the current auto harness.

any advices would be appreciated

Yes you need the manual ecu and yes it just plugs straight in

Since the automatic also runs a higher base fuel pressure you also need to swap the FPR from the manual engine or get a way to retune the car for the effectively larger injectors.

thanx for the info ,i bought 2 , 1g dsm 92 one was auto n the other was manual so doing a swap will upload pics soon .the thing is why am i doing a swap is tht one car is registered n the other came from japan not registered locally so bought it cheap .
now the swap from auto to manual is easy but the mechanic cant do maunal to auto coz of the harness of TCU so m screwed i was planing to wap all good parts make is runing n sell it off .but i guess i have to scrap the other one .

FPR on autos run on 46 psi isnt tht good more psi for the injectors ..

Make sure you use the manual starter plate on your motor. I left the auto starter plate on my auto motor and you have to drill holes in the plate to get the holes to line up for the starter. A complete Pain in my ass, so beware

Nothing needs to be done, infact, if you swap to the 450s and to the manual FPR. You need no manual turbo ecu. The base fuel pressure of a manual turbo dsom is 37psi vs. the 43.5 psi that the auto fpr has. The fuel flow is close enough for the ecu to easily compensate for the difference. EASILY. It's about a 5% difference in fuel flow. Mine runs excellent with the above mentioned conditions.

well i have an option to swap the car , coz both are on jacks at the moment thanx for the starter plate info.... n e other important experience guys plss do share ....coz now i have the time to swap coz its on jacks

oil coolers should be swapped as well is it neccasary

Ahh I'm about to switch to an Auto, just to see if it will hold up better than the manual clutches. Even with my 16g I keep causing clutches to fail. Tired of it.

guys should i swap the oil cooer as well will it fit on the auto filter housing
