Supra SMIC to Air Box

A few years back I installed a Supra SMIC with a 14b in my GSX , felt it was time to upgrade to a 16g and FMIC. This left me with a large hole behind the headlight.

The best solution I could come up with was cover it with mesh.

This gave me the idea to take it one step furthers and add a heat shield.

Its perfect for a cold air intake

I'd put a solid cover over it and use it as an cold air box. Paint it black so it's not as flashy. Plus, the paint will protect the metal.

I'll have to post more pictures, the outside is painted with truck liner. I might swap to a solid cover later down the road.
