supra fuel pump ?

my brother has a 3kgt VR-4 and he upgraded to a walbro 255 - and later changed that to a toyota supra's stock fuel pump - which was an upgrade . . . would the supra fuel pump work on a 99 gsx ? have any of you heard of it / tried it yourselves ? is it compatible?
