I have a tubular exhaust manifold for my turbo because my stock manifold is looking rather rough and probably rather restrictive. I am curious if I can just bolt this on or if I will need to put more fuel to the motor as well since it will probably increase air flow right? Any advice would be appreciated. My turbo and motor and injectors are stock for now.

FP manifold is on sale now for $175. A better bolt on choice is evo3 manifold because you have better clearance to front nuts (manifold to turbo) plus you can reuse a heat shield. Stay away from tubular manifolds unless you plan on installing a large T3/T4 turbo. If you decide to get a tubular T3/T4 manifold, get a FullRace which may cost around $1200 new.

Based on your current setup, I do not see how a stock manifold would be restrictive. If you had a large dsm frame turbo like FP 82HTA and you upgraded from stock manifold to FP manifold, then you would expect to see better exhaust flow and WOT tune would need to be adjusted.

Its a direct bolt on..But like said the stock manifold may actualy be better than the upgraded ebay one..They are prone to cracking, but I have seen people put 5k miles on them with no cracking.

So long story short,, the ebay tubular manifold will be hit or miss..For the cool afactor, you could go with this manifold..For This site cool factor,, port the stock one, and you can be in the 2g manifold club..

If your going to stay stock for a while,no need for the bling in the engine bay.

I will be going to an evo 16g turbo eventually and bigger injectors and fuel pump and so on. I already have to tubular manifold so I guess I could sell it and get some money back if they are really that bad. I bought it before I was a member on this site.
