Supporting mods for 18g?

I am buying a '95 TSi AWD with 60,000 miles. The wategate is half open, so the turbo doesn't work right. I have a ported/polished/clipped 18g here, and want to install it. Will it bolt right on? What will need to be done to make it work? What supporting mods would I need?

If its all stock, no it will not bolt right on. You will need an install kit which you can find at a number of DSM vendors and keep the boost set in the ballpark of 12-14 until you can get some upgrades, fuel system, exhaust etc. And before you buy it make sure you find out when the t-belt was changed! If it wasnt that needs to be the first thing you do to the car. Dont even chance driving it until you know that it was changed

I asked about the t-belt, the owner said it's never been done and that it is showing no signs of needing replacment. i will be changing it and the flywheel anyway, because my last car shattered the flywheel

Thats some serious BS there. He obviously doesnt know what hes talkin bout. Thats very risky on a t-belt that has 60k+ on it. Kinda surprised it didnt go yet. Just be sure you get it changed Its days are numbered

Fellow 18G owner here, check my profile for mods, my car should be making about 290whp and good for 111mph traps. I have a few more parts to add too but a good start for you is:

-60K tune up
-Intake (not Injen)

-UICP www.straightlinespecialties.com
-550cc+ injectors
-SAFC


If you are already replacing the flywheel add a stronger clutch as well. Follow those mods first and your car will be night&day faster, you'll love it.
