2G Sunroof stuck off track. How to fix?

So I just purchased this 1999 GST, it had a few rust issues that I'm addressing and one of them was the sunroof frame being rusted out. I grabbed one from the junkyard and installed it, but when it rolled back into place it got stuck off track on one side. How can I fix this? I've attached photos.

I will be putting my restored sunroof back together tomorrow and I can give you a very detailed description of it. Basically there are two cables running to each side that are driven by the motor in the middle. These cables control the track system are should run at equal lengths each rotation. More to come later..

I'm having the same issue with my GST as well. The passenger side gets hanged up like in your picture. The only way as of right now for me to close the sunroof is to push foward the lever that is sticking out on the inside of the car. Push it forward with a little bit of force it should even out for you to close it.

At least one of the plastic articulating mount assembly is broken. Both sides have them and have to work in unison or it hangs up on one side. Pushing it forward on whichever side is broken as it attempts to close will keep it aligned. If both are broken you will have to apply force to both sides. When theyre broken It causes an overcurrent on the motor and tells the sunroof controller to retract if both tracks are not moving evenly. Occasionally, the controller will skip a tooth and you will have to reset the cable assembly because it will instantly go into retract mode, but the problem is usually the mount is broken or a combination of the two from the broken mount leading to the controller issue. Fairly common problem with the only fix being to replace the tracks with “new” which will break again in a short time.

Yeah I realized this after taking the motor off and messing with the arms. Guess I'll wait for another sunroof to show up at the boneyard. Thank you guys.
