summit wagon awd transmission

ive been looking at a 1993 summit awd wagon with a sohc 4g64. it has a bad transmission. i was reading that it has a WM533 transmission, with a dsm tcase. is that right? would a 2g transmission work?

i also believe the car is an auto.

The w5m33 transmission is a manual, awd transmission. The auto trans codes are F4A33 for fwd and W4A33 for awd. I would make 100% sure that the final drive was 3.545:1 in the rear end if it is awd though, or you are going to have severe problems.

i found out that the trans is most likely a W4a32. so what are the difference between the two?
