Sudden Low Clutch Pedal

Hey everyone, i have run into an issue and need input.
Last weekend i was driving my car and went through the gears. Went to shift into 4th and the car acted as if i shifted into 2nd. Im 98% sure i didnt but it may have happened.. anyway car jolted and slid a bit before i pushed in the clutch again quickly. I pulled over looked the car over and drove home fine. Then the next day i drove it to the mall and back with no issues. However the clutch seemed a little easier to push in than normal. The day after that i went to go to a meet and when i pushed in the clutch it was like nothing was there until i was maybe half an inch off the floor. The clutch engages and disengages right off the floor. What could i be looking at? Clutch is an ACT2600 with maybe 5k on it. Trans is a Turbotrix mild build with maybe 2k on it. Checked the slave and master operation and fluid and theyre fine.
 
Reciewed everything in greatter detail and found debris in the slave boot. Cleaned it out and bled the system and its back working swell.
The slave and master are leaky though so they will be replaced

Look at that last line.....checked slave and master operation and fluid and theyre fine. Hence my confusion.
 
Well yeah, i didnt get to look very well, only looked at the actuation and fluid level. I was on the side of the road. The fluid level that was in the master cylinder was fine but yesterday when i looked it was almost empty. Strange enough, i want to say these two things were not connected. The master and slave are both leaking though so they will need replacing. The master is leaking inside the car so i didnt see it. And the slave is damp to the point where i might as well just replace it.
 
I'd recommend getting a braided clutch line to the slave. RRE sells them I believe. It's easy to bend or kink the stock hard lines when you remove the slave and it also helps with clutch pedal feel.
