ok took my car to CAPITOL STREET AUTO in salem or, here and had em do the blanance shaft belt, timeing belt and water pump, so i get it back today and what happens it runs like shit, in fact it runs worse than shit,

ok the engine when at idle around 500 rpm makes a harmonic sound whoomp whoomp whoomp whoomp and its all with the lifter tick and i also wanna say the cams r makeing a messed up sound, and if i idle it for 3 min or so itll die,

Now i paid 700 bucks for this shit, Ne ideas on why its running like crap, its just a harmonic sound the whole car shakes from it,

theres a good lesson in this. i learned the extremely hard way recently, i have a thread open called "time to install a 4g63". even if a mechanic claims he knows what hes doing i would and will in the future ask for references of other dsm owners who had work done. i went to a very reputable shop: 3.5 months later the guy hasnt done shit and tomorrow the car, engine, box of bolts, tranny is all being crated and shipped to a garage where myself and a fellow dsmtuner is going to complete it. i cant stress this enough, some people cant work on these! crazy, i know
