Does anyone know any good eclipse mechanics near Schaumberg IL? Some mechanics I've run into don't seem to know anything about turbo systems.

What do you need a mechanic for? In other words, do you want a tuner who is going to guide you through performance options and tuning, or do you just need something fixed?

For the former, your best bet is probably Automotosports in Arlington Heights.

For the latter, I always use Kranz Service in Barrington. They're honest, fair, and know DSMs pretty well. They're not going to tell you what your fuel settings should be, but if you need something that's broken fixed, they're top notch.

AMS is good, but beware they didn't do a perfect job on my Turbo install. My return line leaks.

ALOT of return lines leak. unfortunetly it boils down to not getting a proper seal on the oil pan. In any event if its something that we did incorrectly bring it on in and we will take care of it for you. We warranty all of our work. What all the guys here at teh shop do is weld an AN fitting to the actually oil pan to prevent leaking. I am guessing that is where yours is sourced from. give us a call
