2g with a 6 bolt swap.

We have the car at what we thought is a fireable stage. We have tried turning it over and it will not start. That is when I realized we do not have the fuel pump kicking on and the cel light isn't showing up when we turn the key. We checked wires and sensors again and even contacted the person we bought the eprom ecm from, he let us hook it up to his running car to verify it wasn't a bad ecm. His car ran and yet when we install and try to fire it, nothing happens. Engine just keeps turning over. So this is where my ask for help comes in. What did I miss? What could be hooked up wrong or not all that that will cause these issues?

^^was just typing that...
If its on the stock wiring still, check fuse? relay?
I think I remember reading that you bought the car non running, do you know if the fuel pump ever worked?
You can jump the fuel pump to verify it at least works...

The car was a non runner when purchased but we did get it to fire and run before we tore it down. Relay was replaced before tear down as that was a suspected issue and the car did end up starting. Relays r checked and good and fuel pump was not rewired. (Want to but figured that will come later)

Test fuel pump (jump)

Also check the MPI
As far as the ecu goes, if it worked fine in the other car then it would have to be that maybe it's not getting power... I really hate electrical, it's my nemesis but I get through it. Time to get out the volt meter and start going through it.
Work on getting power to the ecu first and that will most likely solve the pump issue. Check all the fuses...
Sorry I don't have a definitive answer...

Huston we have lift off! Turns out it was something oh so silly, had a sensor plugged in wrong. Oops! And then we had no spark. But that was fixed once my husband remembered his friend had said that the 95 eprom ecm had to have the plug wires flopped. Fired up! Doesn't run the greatest but it's fires and only has some minor issues that should be fairly easy to deal with.
