hey this weekend when i was driving my 1garound i downshifted and mashed on it and when i went to shift from third to fourth the throttle stuck and the car started bouncing on the rv limiter. i shut the car off but when i turned it back on it was still bouncing off the rev limiter i had to shut the car off pop the hood and manually push the lever that controls the throttle plate it still sticks and there is a clicking sound coming from the cruise control box i was wondering if anyone has had this problem. i just bought the car and i need to fix it

The Throttle Body is probably sticking or the throttle cable has rust in the cable. I would take the cable off of the TB and clean the TB with carb claner, then check the cable to see if it moves freely, if it does its the TB.

great thanks i just need to get my car back from the dealer for the transfer case recall so then i can clean it out
