First off, the cars a '92 Mitsu Eclipse GS 1.8.
The car will change gears off, but when on, the clutch will not disengage or engage. The gears grind if you try to get it into gear. I was told by a friend that the throw out bearing is probably gone and it wont be much to replace it. He said autozone or pepboys could have one or order me one for like $40. My question is, has any1 ever replaced one of these? How much was it? Did you do it yourself or did you take it to a shop? I have some technical know - how but if it isnt that much i'd just have it done. I just sold the car and the next day the T/O bearing seemed to just go out, and I have to pay for it since its a close friend and a girl
. TIA - Darrell
