I have been working for the last year on getting my 2.3l stroker and it is finally done well it is been done for the last 8 months but how can i tell that i really do have a 2.3l stroker with out taking the engine apart. I hope someone could help me with this one.

Well i dont believe there is any way to tell visually from the outside of the engine, you would have to remove the oil pan at a minimum to get a look at the bottom of the rods etc... even that doesnt tell you for sure. Well for starters you could run the stock turbo on it and compare spool times from a stock 2.0 LOL. A stock t25 on a 2.3l stroker would spool incredibly fast id imagine.

More tq, faster spool, but as he said you're not going to be able to tell by looking at the motor. No1 will not what you packing LOL. You put the 2.3 together and you don't believe you have a 2.3 ? do you know what saize crank you used or anything ? 100mm is the stroker crank.

My problem is that who knows if the shop who build my engine and put it in even gave me what i ordered and not something else.

I might be mistaken, but I believe Wiseco's have the part number on the top of the piston. You could look down the spark plug hole and read the number. It's a pain in the ass to look down the hole, but if you have a bright light and just the right angle you'll be able to see the tops of the pistons.

Yeah they do have a part number cause before they put it in i had them at the house, i will take a lookt tomorrow andsee what i find.
