now that everyone offers stroker kits and looking at all the different offering I have a simple question.

does one stand out above the rest for any reason.

and i know that price = quality but most of the kits are around 1700 or less minus a few exceptions like the magnus because of the billet crank and a few others but for the most part what is a good reliable, tested and proven stroker kit from a vendor we have?

The only differences are the parts used. Most utilize an Eagle crank and then you have your choice of rods and pistons. That's the only reason why prices are different.

Pick the rods that are rated for your goals and select the proper CR pistions you are wanting to use. Higher CR for E85 and lower CR for pump gas especially if you plan on striving for high boost with a large turbo.

Weigh your goals versus your budget.

If you're looking for less than 600awhp, you can save yourself some cash over most "kits". An OEM 100mm crank is plenty strong, and eagle or manley rods are easily good enough for over 500awhp and will work well with almost any floating pin off-the-shelf stroker pistons.

as im new to the platform i was wondering what all is required to run a 100mm crank. do i need to grind the block or is there enough room. on the platform i crossed over from the only stroker is 3 times the price of a drop in larger engine, so i have little experiance in doing strokers on anything in the 4 cyl world

ok thanks that helps alot. i didnt know if one setup was vastly better but if they are all just bolting the same stuff together that simplifys it alot
