The previous owner put a tubular manifold on and in the process of either putting it on or removing it, he stripped one of the bolts badly. I am out of ideas to get it out. If you take a look at the attached picture i can only get an open end wrench on it because of the position on the manifold.

If anyone has any ideas to get it off, please let me know.

A very healthy set of vice grips should do. Irwin makes some really small bolt extractors that you can pound on to the nut, their also known as turbo sockets. Snap-on makes a better one but most of their turbo sockets are a little bulkier because of impact grade, so they may not fit..

Worst case you can weld a socket of a bolt on to the nut and turn it but that.

I've been killing it with lubricant to try to make it easy to break loose.

Its still drivable, just have to tighten the other bolts up. Im going back to a stock ported manifold.

I think last resort ill cut it off and get new studs.

Looks like it'd be hard to cut but if you can do that it's probably the best bet, then try to find a stud from a junkyard instead of ordering a new set if you're strapped for cash. Also why are you getting rid of the tubular one? Wanna sell it?

vice grips should get the job done....just be careful not to break the bolt in there cause then youre really going to hate life
