Ok I searched but I couldnt find the answer so I decided to make a post.

I am puting new rings in my 91 4G63T and i am buying wisco piston rings for the stock piston heads because I heard they were good rings. Now they vary on thickness and what I need to know is what is the stock thickness of the piston rings? Also they very from thin, standard and thick. If im useing this car for a daily driver, but I run it hard and am boosting at 14 what size rings would you suggest?

****most importantly I need the stock thickness of the rings****

Kyle,

This following chart shows to be ring specs for 90-91 but it looks like no thickness is provided.

I hope this helps you in some way.

Kyle,
one question why would you want to put weisco rings on stock pistons? those rings require a finish on the bore that only a machine shop can do! just curious why not just go with regular chrome premium rings
