Stock Rad Fan wiring on 1G GSX

Long story short. I just got a 90 Mitsu GSX with a hack of a engine job. I was told it has a 91 GSX engine in it. My problem is that the radiator fan was wired to run all times the key is on. The previous owner cut and spliced the the wires to the radiator thermal switch. I am looking for the wiring diagram or some pictures and info on wire colors and things for a 90 GSX. I have the SAME exact problem, I am really interested in this. Its a huge problem now being Im in this 10 degree weather and the car will take forever to warm up and is always running too cold.

I don't know the wire colors but If you want to shut it off in the winter, you should wire a switch in line.

The generic manuals you buy in the auto parts stores have the switches and wire colors in the back section.

I just have my fan unplugged right now. Its cold enough around here so its runs at a good temp. I got a wiring diagram so i am going to tackle the fan wiring tomorrow
