Hey guys, I know I don't post much, I'm looking for advice
I've been repairing my stock turbo at a turbo repair shop place and it's been two times I've need them to repair it, and the issue is I only use it literally one day, and then there's a lot of whitish smoke coming out of the exhaust of one day of using the car, I don't abuse the car while driving this is the second time, I take off the turbo and there's a lot of shaft play, and this is my third time, what seems to be the problem? My trusted mechanic of years says that the place is not doing their job correctly on fixing my turbo right, rn my gsx is just in the drive way it sad I can't drive it, what should I do in this case?
Either one, go back for the third time, tell them that it's still same, I drive it one day, smoke comes out, I take out the turbo and hell of shaft play that I find.
Or two, I've been tempted to buy this stock gsx turbo that I saw at Walmart online that there selling it's basically the same thing.
Any advice, If I missed something lmk, ask me any advice is appreciated to me.
PS: I've had other problems minor I I'm would say and I've gotten things fixed but nothing has given me a harder time than this turbo issue and I don't wanna give up easy and be having to let it go. Thanks
