Resolved 1995 GSX Stock Turbo

Ok, I'm looking to buy a rebuild kit for my turbo. I want to know which turbo came stock in that year. Car is a 1995 Eclipse GSX. Is it the 16g or T25? Thanks.

It is a T25, but i wouldn't bother investing any money into it. You could modify the t25 to a BigT28 compressor wheel and have the cover and chra machined, which will flow more and bolt up the same. You could also pick up a used 14b for the price of the rebuild kit. You will need to modify a few things to get it on the car, but nothing difficult or too expensive.

For the amount of a rebuild kit and paying someone to do it you could have bought yourself a nice used one dirt cheap. Just make sure you check it for shaft play and broken fins.

Thanks, will do. One more question, when I bought the car the guy said it had a stock 16g turbo. How do I check to see which turbo it is?

if u really want to keep the stock turbo, just get a cartridge and put it in yourself. easy to do as well

Check the tag on the turbocharger and compare it here

if it's not in that list its most likely a t25....

Also if anyone has the t25 tag numbers I could use em to add to the list....
