what is stock 1995 gsx suspention like

anyways.. how stiff should the stock suspension on the 95 gsx feel? my buddy recently got a 95 and it just seems way stiffer than what a stock (ride high looks stock) car should feel.

it handles really nicely in my opinion but i know some of you guys go extreme with coil overs and big swaybars.

i guess what im trying to say is its difficult for me to push the front end down at all. does this sound like a stock suspension?

I just hope its not lower enough where its starting to ride on bump stops. But i doubt that, at that point everything is gonna start dragging and spark will be flying .

My stock suspension on my gsx ride like a sponge , form what i read yours sound aftermarket. sometimes the aftermarket ones will look pretty flashy with different(attracting) color springs. if the color dose not exist, the only way would be taking them off and check the spring rate. Another thing to look for is aftermarket struts. Aftermarket struts will tend to feel stiffer especially if they are performance oriented.

it definitely looks stock... i dont think its broken because the ride height is just fine and all 4 corners are just as stiff as the one another.

ill take a pic when i can (dont know when that will be though) but what i can say is the springs are black and the shocks are black (stock looking)

as for ride quality, it handles better and is more comfortable than my friends civic hatch that is slammed on some crappy coil overs and STIFFF as ever.
