stock 2g gsx?

I really want to get a 2g Eclipse GSX... but I don't exactly know what the $ damage will be. On www.kbb.com, on a 95 GSX being sold by a private party with 120k miles, it said it is worth around $4500. But I don't see any ones in the same condition with the same options on them going for that much. Ebay, the classifieds on here, around town- they are all like $6000+

So I was wondering, if you were going to sell your car, how low would you be willing to go?

But I'll sum up a few things that will make price vary.
-Mileage
-Area of the united states
-Rust
-Mechanical Flaws
-Sometimes COLOR (oddly people pay more for certain colors they like)
-Modifications (if your selling to someone that is going to mod it)
-AWD or FWD
-Body Condition


KBB isn't going to net you a awd dsm for cheap. Alot of people that have them know that they are very good cars to modify and they will up their price accordingly.

That's the exact reason I want a TSI awd. If you say "Oh I've got an Eclipse" people are like pffft who doesnt. But if you say "I've got a Talon TSI" people are like hmm... sounds nifty. Or they'll say "oh that's a piece". Then when they're falling quickly behind in their little ricer or mustang they're like... whoops.

Underestimation can be a big advantage when some punk pulls up next to you at a light and revs his engine

Just make sure once you kick their a$$ you pull in front of em and turn on your hazards. It must be done.

95 talon tsi awd good condition no mechanical flaws - $6,000 in Tennessee is what I paid.

I got my 95 Talon TSI AWD for $5500. It has all power options, stock, infinity stereo (with amp) 75,400 miles. Black paint, almost no body damage. Hope this helps.

Damn man, that's a deal. 2 months ago I got my '95 for $8,600. All power, LSD, 41k highway miles. I must admit I got screwed, but I was already on the market for a DSM for the better part of 4 months, couldn't wait any longer, and this one sure beats the hell out of my other option--- '97 GS-T in white with 51k miles for $9,995 from a dealer.

Back in April I got a 95 TSI AWD with 113k, intake and exhaust, power everything but seats, no moonroof for $4000.

Bought my car from the original owner with 116k on the clock. 95, loaded, near flawless condition, bone stock. Picked it up for 5500.

I picked up my 96 gsx m/t with leather and power everything for 1700$

paint is SLIGHTLY bad but that's not bad.

oh yeah and there was a whole the size of a baseball on the block

used galant vr4 rs engine w/tranny - 1750

what do you get?

a 96 gsx with all the options running more hp than stock with some extra goodies - 3600$

so after i sell the tranny i got mine with 50ishk on the engine for 3 grand

Got my TSI AWD with 70,000 original miles for $6,000.00 Power everything except the seats. Original owner was a 45 yr old lady! No body damage what so ever. Garage Kept. Car is AWESOME!!!
