Does anyone know if the stock oil pressure and water temp gauges are the same between all 1g models?

Are you referring to the gauge faces or the sensors? Either way, they should be the same. I know they are the same from 4G63 N/T to T. Someone with access to CAPS (I have a MAC), would be able to tell you if they are the same 4G63 to 4G37.

Well. To answer the question. They are the same. So is the bezel for the cluster. I went to the junkyard today and looked and bought some. They work correctly to. And the ones in a 4g37 car are the same as well, those are the one I got.

I'm glad you got your situation figured out, but for future reference, the oil pressure gauges are not the same for all 1G models. Leave it to the 1990 models to have a different one -- different meaning not directly, physically interchangeable with a later model unit or vice versa. The one on the left is the 1991+, the right is a 1990.
