Stock CD Player Constantly On

Interesting problem I just found out...

97 Eagle Talon N/T (Slowboy)

Stock Deck - Radio works just fine. Tried to put a CD in to it today and it took the CD. It sounded like it was spinning it but never played and would not eject it. Went out for lunch 4 hours later (roughly) and my battery is dead....

Any ideas?

I got the car jumped and drove around just fine. CD player still spinning, will not eject... Turn the key off and the CD player is still spinning, will not eject...

Hoping that I will not go back out to another dead battery.... WTF

i would just replace it with a aftermarket that way you know it wont be on all the time

Yeah... That is what I thought...

Side note;
The current deck gets a horses$^% radio signal...
Is that common or am I going to be running new antenna wire / new antenna as well?
