just wondering what the stock 1g cast piston horsepower rating is ?

let me know asap...thanks !

6 bolt? 7 bolt? Turbo? N/T?

A 6 bolt turbo piston can handle as much as 450hp before it gives out.

It looks like your car is a 7 bolt with a N/T motor so I'm not sure, but I can say it won't hold 450.

250hp or so would be my best guess.

well the pistons i got came out of a 1993 7 bolt eclipse turbo...how much will they hold up to ?

Might be wrong, but I assumed all 1g's used the same cast pistons and that the difference was in rod thickness. In any case, pushing them to 300 should be safe if your tune is good. Anything over is a risk imho. Push them and find out. :sneaky:

i saw a guy pull off 480ish hp on the dyno with a stock 6 bolt bottom, thus stock pistons. SO if youre shooting for 300, youre more than safe.
