STM Tank to rail kit problems

So i bought the STM tank to rail kit. When i went to put on the AN fittings, the fittings wont stay on the lines, and keep fraying the nylon the outside of the rubber lines. Any suggestions?

Are you useing electrical tape around the end of the line before you try to fit it?

yes i have tried that, to me it seemed like the only option, but im going to try that again. Although they were on pretty good the second i gave it a slight tug to check it they came off again. Maybe I will give it another shot.

Never mind i got it. Need more elbow grease. But thanks for the suggestion i appreciate it.

You usually need to wrap tape and then use a rotary tool to cut it clean and the fit it on. Lots of elbow grease requires either way

The nylon, I just use wire cutters to cut it, never frays for me. And just use some elbow grease and patience to get all the strands inside and start twisting it on. Never had an issue. . .
