still useable?

I just bought the head from a member on here an this is what i found when I started pulling the cam shafts out. I don't care about the camshaft I was wanting to build the head full out. I'm wondering if the head is usable tho.

I would say it is still usable, but not for a head on a dsm. Maybe a anchor for a small boat?

Oh. It's a good head. I'm gonna play with it a bit since I have another one for my build. I look at it and see potential. Not average everyday port, polish, grind stuff. Really play with it. Trying to do something impressive naturally aspirated. I know it can be done. From what I gather, you folks are all about tweaking these rides every way possible. Hell. That's why I bought it. Glad y'all are letting me join the fun. It would make a decent anchor too though. .

Well now that I have the 2g basically good to go to fufill my addiction for boost.

I am gonna get nasty with the 1g. 4g64 with 2 head ported enough to run a cyclone, or an RVR/E3 manifold. Other stuff to be determined. Just want lots of torque. And of course I am gonna go auto so I dont have to deal with shredding trasmissions. Just need to find someone that makes an aftermarket radiator with the trans cooler, or go to a straight external trans cooler.

It would also make a good bookend if you remove the studs and shit.

I'm one of those "Can't be done"....."Wanna bet" kind of folks. I like pushing it in a whole new way. Innovation leads to so many possibilities.

I would probably just use it for parts. I have never seen a cam or head like that.
