i fixed my boost leak at the bottom of the IM which i thought was the reason for my fuel cut and only 7psi.... im all out of ideas here...my car wont boost stock 12psi and when i try to go WOT it will studder and it seems like it hits fuel cut....ANY IDEAS...Stock jdm 4g63 510cc injectors and sm 16g...

Have you checked you spark plug gap?

What spark plugs do you have? Maybe try .028 gap.

Ok, lets start over! What mods do you have? Your profile don't say much!
Are you still on the stock fuel pump?

There are numerous factors that can cause fuel cut. Does the car feel like it's running ok at a low rpm/low boost? Do you have a CEL lit up? Have you replaced the plug wires? Is your air filter clean?

Gap your spark plugs to .028. They get a hotter spark set there.

I got beat to the post... They just said the same thing I did... I need to type faster.

if you fix the gap like talondave said and it still does it maybe check the ecu i was having the same problem and my ecu was fried on one of the chips comming out, it would pop and spit at like 6500 or so and not really boost more than 7 pounds either and it felt kind of like fuel cut; after i changed the ecu it went away. but try taking a look at it if its fine you know thats out of the question

runs good idle kinda sounds like it might miss...if i only go half throttle il get a slow 7lbs i do have a check engine light but sometimes it goes of.new plugs...not wires and a gheeto/dirty air filter...i did try my friends new k&n but no change

i tried a new ecu too my friends...his car has no problems...didnt work on mine

and yes still stock fuel pump

Its got to be something simple! Ummmm! Can you borrow a set of 450cc injectors off of any of your friends? What i'm saying is, our cars run rich stock and you have bigger injectors on a stock setup! Might be something to look into!

I agree with Dave. You're probably running rich. But just to be safe...

First thing tomorrow, drive until a CEL comes on, then stop by Autozone and have your code pulled. And while you're there, buy a new air filter. Then next payday pick up some wires....

I just had a problem with fuel cut and horrible idle surge. My car would run like shit until it hit about 3000 rpm, and then it would start running fine. The CEL finally came on, and turns out it was my wires misfiring. I decided to give some extra love to the Talon and changed out the plugs as well, did an oil change, poured in a bottle of injector cleaner, turned the fuel flow up, and did a boost leak test. The car seems a lot happier now.

Its amazing what a little TLC can do.

what i dont get is they came with the motor there stock yellow tops

i tried going to auto zone they wont read the code cause its older than 96

A jdm ecu will have different fuel maps then a U.S ecu.. I doubt its the problem! Maybe try another maf!

Word...il give that a go any ideas on the injectors

ya i tried my friends maf...no change also tried his bcs, wasgate actuater....and still nothing

Try the .028 gap, and if nothing there I will be stumped!!!LoL

yep i re gapped the plugs and still no change when im at wot if it doesnt cut out it will barley get to 6000 rpm?could it be a bad coil pack? and my spark plugs arnt fouled they almost look like there starting to turn white?...lean?

First, let's figure out why you have a CEL and solve that. You could do what 350war suggested and test for the code(s) with a voltmeter, or go the simpler (though slightly more expensive route) and buy a relatively cheap logging device that can read and clear ECU codes. I use a Palm IIIc running MMCd software. It's mighty useful for those of us who are running relatively stock setups.

Second... white plugs indicates lean, indeed. I have no idea how that could be, especially with 510cc injectors. Doubtfully it's the ECU, but it can't be ruled out yet. If you still have no idea, try swapping your fuel pressure regulator with a known working unit.

Im also running a palm IIIc with MMcd very useful and cheap for what it does. Besides a boost gauge it should be one of the first things you get for your ride. White is lean you want to see a light brown color.
