I have a 1g with a 14b. When I hit about 10 psi I'm hitting a brick wall, not all the time but sometimes. Possible boost leak? On a side note my car is vibrating in low gears...does it need new oil in the transfer cases?
Thanks!

Well first check for leaks with a blt, check transfer case oil may be low fill just to make sure. Do a blt to rule out the leaks.

Under boost (which is what he's talking about), post-turbo can't let air in because the entire intake system is pressurized.

Pre-turbo, it can let air in, but you wouldn't be able to do a boost leak test.

Boost leak would cause you to run rich and kill performance, also possibly rich knock. You may also be getting PK up there if something is vibrating at the right frequency.

Injectors could be dog old and unable to cope.

Plugs.

Coil or transistor; on their way out, bad wiring/connectors.

Checked the MAS recently? Maybe the sensor(s) in it can't read right anymore or bugger out at a higher airflow number.

What HAVE you checked?
