Installed my front mount, recirculated greddy type s, 13 psi. stock turbo and wastegate. 94 gsx.
(90 94 Eclipse Talon Laser Intercooler Piping Kit DSM 1g | eBay)

So after first installing it, i was getting on it, maybe a bit past half throttle and the car made a loud clunk, and jerk movement from front end.maybe lasted a second or 2 and i let off and it stopped and havn't gone past half throttle since. Was it fuel cut? Do i need a tune for the larger amounts of air going through the turbo now?

Good luck trying to find any leaks with a bike pump. You need something that can fill the intake system pretty quickly so either a compressor or a tank that you can take to get filled at a gas station air compressor or tire shop.

I've used a bike pump before , worked fine for me pressurized to 30lbs.

Why did you buy the piece of hose? All you need is a coupler, a cap, 2 clamps and a valve stem. Go back to the hardware store, return what can and get the correct size coupler to fit your turbo and the correct size plastic cap for the end.

This is all what you need.

2.7TT Boost Leak / Intake Pressure Tester

2 clumps
1 rubber valve
1 boost gauge
1 water pipe plug
1 rubber coupler

Measure your turbo inlet, and get the same diameter water pipe plug (with a flat end surface),
Buy an universal tire rubber valve (it will seals itself), drill a hole on one side of the water pipe surface and insert the valve.
Buy a little boost gauge and drill another hole on the other side of the water pipe plug surface and thread it (most of them are 1/8), make sure to use some kind of adhesive like thread locker/sealer or some sore of when screwing the gauge into the plug.
Get a rubber coupler to fit the turbo/water plug and get the clamps as well and you are done.

I doubt you will spend more then $25 on these parts all together.

biggest coupler i could find was 2". stock 14b is 2.225 iirc so i guess i could stretch it.
