I think I fixed all of my boost leaks. Well the 1g bov I have on leaks a LITTLEat about 15 or 16 pounds a tiny bit. Will that still cause me to get fuel cut? I usually only does it if i down shift and floor it. hence the boost will spike to about 17#. when i hit about 5k i get fuel cut. it shot a flame out the exhaust also. will just my bov do that? I was leaking out my biss screw but fixed that. I am going to do another leak test this weekend. What do you think about removing the lower honey combs in the maf? bad idea. Also what about that screw on the bottom of the maf? Any help is appreciated!!! thanks!

Thats what I figured. Before I go any further I'm going to get another BOV and re check my boost leaks. What I did before was blocked the BOV recerc. tube off so the BOV wasnt leaking durning the test, then it blew the gasket on the BOV flange. with only about 18psi. So I guess I got some work to do yet. But Ive been really busy b/c I'm buying a bike. So I'll get around to it soon!
Thanks for the quick help so far!!!

Backing the screw out will lean it out somewhat and will push back fuel cut a bit later butdon't expect significant changes.

Hacking or following what TALONTRAX has told you is the only fuel cut "fix". A big leak at the bov will certainly increase the likelyhood and earlier occurance of fuel cut.

My fuel cut wasn't fixed until i got a 190 pump. I used an Apexi AFC to tune as well. I really don't think any boost leak you have at this point would cause you to hit fuel cut. I always hit it about 5k and then would come the flame.

Do not hack a 2G mas period, either the honeycomb or the screw, especially the screw. The changes you bring by adjusting that screw will be non-linear (unlike a 1G) and it will be almost impossible to bring it back to stock, hopefully my post isn't too late.

Couple of questions for the OP.

1. What are you using to boost leak test? If a compressor was used, what is the regulator set to? How much pressure were you able to register on the boost gauge? For how long did it hold? This of course is with the BOV recirculation tube uncapped, I don't know how you were expecting to estimate out how much the BOV was leaking by capping it.

2. Is your MBC connected to the BOV line?

3. Is your BOV recirculated?

Hitting fuel cut has nothing to do with your fuel pump, unless you're not talking about fuel cut.

It wasn't my fuel pump that fixed the fuel cut. I just got that so i could run higher boost. Tuning with the Apexi AFC eliminated my fuel cut.
Keep in mind that using a AFC to delay fuel cut is still a bandage for a mechanical problem, a properly tuned system should never see fuel cut, stock or not. I would also ask you the same questions I asked the OP, in addition, how much psi were you running with the 14b when you hit fuel cut at 5k. As a reference point, while dealing with a creeping 16g years back on a stock fuel system, I was at first hitting fuel cut at 18psi @ 6k (after FMIC kit install), after fixing many many many.... boost leaks, it crept up to 23psi before I hit fuel cut. Simply put, assuming your maf was reading correctly and you have no boost leaks, you shouldn't see fuel cut up until at least 23psi+ on a 14b, at which point your system would not be any where near "properly tuned" with a stock fuel system.
