I haven't seen these on a 2g before so here are some pictures. Fit pretty well, hub or wheel needs some modification since the BBS wheel is a bit to small for the hub. The wheels are 2005 Sti 17x8 5x114.3 53mm offset. fyi The 04 and under are different bolt patterns and width as far as I know.

No side pics sorry that was just with a camera phone. There is a patio thing next to the car so I can't take a side picture. Different wheels are on the way I was just seeing if they fit and how they looked. They are my friends wheels and I just needed them while I wait on the new wheels. As for getting them to fit you'd need to find the difference in hub size and shave that amount off to get them to sit perfectly flat.

Were those ones you put on your 2g machined yet? Or were your hubs? Or are they not sitting flush in those pics?
Sexy :thumb: I always wanted those BBS's on my DSM, what "modifications" did you have to do the make them fit? I wanna know in case I can find a set of my own :D

I picked up a set for 250 bux!

2004 and under have a 5x100 bolt pattern, i was sad to find that out when i got my STi, i really wanted to put the bbs on my dsm but i didn't want to buy adapter hubs.

Increasing the size of a wheel's centerbore should be thought through carefully. Not only does it have to be done precisely, but it can weaken the wheel to the point of being dangerous. It all comes down to how the wheel was made. Your other option for putting Scooby wheels on a DSM (which also takes care of the high offset problem) is a set of custom spacers that have a 67.1 centerbore in the back and a 56-whatever lip in the front. That would be a lot safer and probably cheaper.

As to the whole 17s vs 18s on 2G ... well, this is the appearance forum, so knock yourselves out.
