Steps to swapping trans?

Ok, i am getting ready to swap my trans but can anyone give me some help and tell me the steps that i should take. What has to come off first and in what order etc..?

Should give you a good idea on how to get it done. Except your going to have to drop the transfer case and drive shaft. I think the transfer case is only held on by 5 bolts so it shouldn't take much longer.

Thanks. I figured that so I was just reading about the t-case.

Yea it's actually not that bad. I did mine to change tranny, clutch, and all the rest last winter. Just be careful when pulling the transfer case because its a little heavier then you would think while you are laying underneath the car . If you have a Haynes Manual, just go step by step as to removing the tranny. It will help you through every step pretty much if your not for sure what to excatly do or use the video that was posted before.

I'm actually thinking about replacing my transmission also due to the bad syncro's. I'll more than likely follow these steps to remove the transmission

1G AWD Clutch install
