Starting To Upgrade.

Im about to come into some money and im going to put a decent amount of it in my talon. so far my car is pretty much stock accept for a BCS and a straight thru (no muffler). i want to get an exhaust but i dont know which one. I want something deep and mean with no civic raspy buisness, any ideas? im getting intercooler pipes, intake. This may sound funny but, would it be ok to put Cams in my car even though its not that modded? Thanks

I would recommend the apexi n1 exhaust, I love mine. As far as what mods to do you should take a look at the suggested mod pattern listed on this site.

You will see some gains with cams, but you will get a lot more out of them the more power you throw at it.

ok first off, your car will never sound ricey because it has a turbo muffiling the exhaust. That said I personally run a full apexi N1 o2 housing back. Its deep as hell and sounds fantastic. The Tanabe racing medallion has more tone to it but is higher pitch, probably the closest thing to that ricey sound you were talking about.

As for intercooler pipes, dont bother just wait until you decide what turbo and upgraded intercooler you want, unless you dont want to do all that then try David Brode IC pipes or dejon tool.

For intake just get a K&N, best bang for the buck.

And cams you can do also, but your better off putting that money into some gauges and boost control.

For the exhaust i would recommend HKS hi power if your just getting a catback, or if your going turbo back i would suggest VRS racing with a magnaflow muffler, i got my VRS turboback for like $600 shipped and it sounds awsome
