So i got a 98 GS a couple months ago and am lookin to mod it up but i was wondering if it would be more worth it to sell the gs and pay the difference for a gsx. Should i keep my gs and turbo it, and what would the difference be between a gs turbo and a gsx?

It's possible to turbo your motor, but it's cheaper to just start with a car that's already turbo.

You could go to a GS-T or a GSX, depending on your goals. I personally love my AWD, but some people prefer the FWD turbo cars.

IN the end... You could Probably keep the GS as a daily and get a Turbo for the toy. :)

yeah i would change cars so you can get an AWD turbo platform to start from....

spinning gets really old really fast....

I would suggest going and getting the GSX as a toy. Keep the GS as your daily driver. I have a GS and want a GSX or GS-T as my own track toy. Good luck to you.

I absolutely recommend you drop any plans of upgrading the GS and go find an awd DSM. You won't regret it. It takes so much time, knowledge, and money just to get a 420a car to perform on the same level as a stock 4G63T car.

I miss my old car setup

1992 Plymouth Laser 1.8L 5speed - leaked oil, had tons of minor issues but if I didn't have to add oil I could of just welded the hood shut on that. SOHC motor with 92 crank hp, but got 30+ mpg and was as much of a tank as a honda! Was my DD

1991 Firebird Formula 350 WS6 - with T-tops was an amazing great cruiser and fun as hell.

My 92 AWD Talon - fun as hell for building. Its so much more fun to build than a v8.

Unfortunately I had to get rid of some debt and sell my laser and firebird.

if I were you I'd definitely try to keep your dsm and just buy a turbo model.
Definitely build a 4g63 - a lot easier than a 420a
