gsx intercooler upgrade questions

Hey im looking for a new front mount to replace the old side mount in my 95 gsx. I've upgraded my turbo to the Evo III Big 16g and im looking at the Apexi GT front mount kit. What is a good price? Any suggestions on another setup that would work better? Any pictures and advice would be great.

The bumper isn't metal it's heavy duty fiberglass. But here are some threads to get you going, I think I went overboard with the pictures .

The apexi GT is sufficient for a 16g turbo. The stock Sidemount can be used without a problem for the 16g. When you upgrade to a FMIC, there is more tubing for the turbo to fill up and may cause you to loose a couple of RPM's of spoolup. But its up to you. If you're going to upgrade later to a bigger turbo, then go for it. Also check out short route piping FMICs like the AGP FMIC and the Dejon Tool FMIC. There a bit more expensive but will help your spool.

The stock smic is sufficient till 19 psi, once you pass that you will just be heatsoaking your smic. If you plan to go more than 19 psi, then yes getting a FMIC will be smarter. If i were to buy an ic now I would go DV/DT FAB; but I don't know if you want to spend that money. You can always go with SBR or AGPturbo. Both good ic. You will need to cut most or complete take out the entire bumper support with all three turbos I just mentioned.

well the bumper is made of urathane which can be cut with a cut off tool or a right angle grinder. im looking at runing the same intercooler just that some day when i have the money saved up im going to run the fp green.
so all depends on what you want really.
