Hey guys

I can get a FMIC from a buddy for very cheap... only problem is that its 2" inlet/outlets?

Would this effect me ?

Was thinking right at the inlet/oulet to put 2" to 2.5" then 2.5 " piping every where.

Would this be good or having a 2" inlet/outlet would make restrictions and effect performance?

Thanks for advice.

BTW.... dont have money to get a FMIC kit now..

So if this FMIC will do I have a full 2.5 2g AWD exhaust laying around in the garage I can use some of those for piping also.

So to make wouldnt be to expensive.

Just needed advice on the inlet/outlet

In my mind, it depends on your ultimate goal... what kind of turbo do you see yourself ultimately going with? It's all going to depend on how much air you're pushing whether or not the 2" inlet/outlet is going to become the bottleneck of your system.

Well first of all.

I wont be keeping this if I do it. Reason I would be doing it is cause I have all the parts I need... at home so cost would be minimal.

Wouldnt it be better then SMIC?

Its either I do this or keep SMIC..

Also Right now I have a 14b will be maxing that out before I switch turbos for sure.

Thats why I asked.

Like I said I do plan on getting better FMIC down the road when i have more money.

The question really is would this benefit me more then the SMIC.
