ok general questions im running my modded talon esi-t at the track this year and was wondering if i could bypass my intercooler? would it produce more air flow boost and quicker throttle response? i understand the heat from the turbo but its spring and its not 80* out..... just looking to get a lil more power out of my turbo, note the car is running 15 psi safely but have blown clutches higher than 18psi on the street.

Yes you could bypass your innercoolier would it help you no!!! You would lose power it being spring and not 80 outside does not stop the fact that the turbo is always producing heat . Your I.C. is more efficient in coolier temps.

Definity not on no piss pump gas. You could run no intercooler maybe if you had e98 or something or water/air cooler system, best bet it would blow up on your first pass if you ran without the intercooler on your setup now.

This is a tech forum, please use proper English and grammer... And a "water/air cooler system" is an intercooler so what are you talking about?

OP, running without an intercooler will cause your IAT's to climb which will cause your car to pull timing and produce much less HP. In theory if you ran a type of alcohol injection instead of an IC you would get faster throttle response.
