Starting to tune

So I'm looking to get something to be able to read what my cars doing and adjust it if nesacsary. But I'm not sure what to get. Is an Apexi SAFC 2 sufficient or should I just break down and buy a dsmlink? I mean I'm not going for any ridiculous boost levels or anything like that. 16 psi is what I'm running. So basically what I'm asking for is what should I buy and what do I need to fine tune those numbers to? Thanks.

dsmlink all the way you say your not looking for anything crazy neither was i when i started a year later im shooting for 500 awhp 300 isnt enough anymore . you should just buy what has everything you will ever need the first time and not have to worry about it. trust me its well worth it

Don't go for a SAF-C.

If you really want to know what your engine is doing, ECMLink is a great way to go.

you cant say the best there is a lot of people that love their ems as well i would prefer it but i tried it and wasnt as user friendly

but yes dsmlink is great i love mine and i honestly would invest in v3 full not lite they keep making new bigger and better things to enter dsm world and its almost always for the full version not lite you can alway upgrade later for the same price differance if you dont have the extra like 150$ at that time

i tune Link and AEM and Link is great for the new tuner and is much easier to tune with. the AEM EMS is suggested for advanced tuners who are looking to modify many more parameters.

Ecmlink is more user friendly, and a tad cheaper than the aem.

I prefer the flashable 2g ecu or the Evo ecu, alot less money and more powerful.
