proper wrenches would help some, flare wrench set can be picked up cheap at advance. Spray bolts down with wd40 and leak them soak. Put rag on top of filter while removing it. This is just to start with someone will chime in on the rest.

Excellent find for $200 by far best find on tuners. :thumb:

Ya man that thing looks pretty sweet! Might even be bone stock?

I haven't had the pleasure of removing that fuel filter yet but I'd say get some fingerless gloves since there is a few sharp edges in that area and more than likely you'll get a few knuckle busters in the cramped space. Also, if you can secure one flare wrench to rest against something solid you can concentrate force on only one wrench. Just be careful not to twist the line, it's pretty easy to do from all the threads I constantly read about it. *TWISTED MY FUEL LINE UGGGHH!!*

PB Blaster too and Dale^ pretty much covered the majority, again, nice find.

Advice: fix your grammar. It's pretty jarbled.

Anyway, welcome to the Tuners!! :thumb:

oh god that fiel filter....just make sure not to bend the hell out of the line when you twist it off. i hated that thing.

and $200...you beat me. mine was $750 LOL. NICE

great find and knuckle busting builds character haha gotta learn some how i think id be a cartoon if i bust my hands again

If the car was broken and sat for awhile the fuel pump may be crapped out. You can manually fire the pump and see if you have any fuel. Easy fix. As for the fuel pump do not take it out of the bracket. Get the lines off first. I put a wrench on the filter and a flare wrench on the nut and squeeze the wrenches together. 2g is a bigger pita because of room but still not terrible. 1g is cake with two wrenches. I think guys twist their lines because the fitting that is supposed to spin free is rusted to the line. It would suck to be in the rust belt. I'm not. I've repaired a fuel line with a steel compression union also and a scrap piece from a salvage car. I wouldn't give up on a 200$ car. I gave 900$ for a car with a 3" hole in the tranny. The owner was pissed when I drove it back to his house the following weekend.

no cels:( just replaced plugs seems as im flooding the pistons are wet with fuel and as for a fuel test well lets just say i got a face covered in fuel LOL don't pop the line at the rail before depressing the system

ok did a comperes check good all around still got spark and fuel but no start at all :( starting to regret buying the car i have about 30$ in the budget for it now and need to get it running asap

I should have been more clear but you just answered the question. Getting the face full of fuel did not tell you the motor was receiving fuel but the rail sure is. The plugs being wet, that tells you the motor is receiving fuel. That only leaves two things, spark and compression.

your guess as good as mine it is a 200 $ car here some pics
now i do have a q im on a small budget can the pistons still be used ? ill not be running any mods for now but when i do it gets a full rebuild

no i checked the belt have a bad feeling it jumped im looking in to that right now
what happened it ran for about a day after i replaced the coil ( did the timing check then and after all this)
parked it went to start and nothing just crank crank no start that is when i found a bad fuel filter then this :(. o well it was 200$ and in good shape it will RUN for the DSM world :)

As long as the cylinders aren't scored, and no cracked pistons then most likely yes. You must first file down any sharp edges on the pistons where the valve hit though. Just stuff rags around the assalted area on the pistons and use a slow dremel or hand file. Make sure the dust stays local, meaning don't let the shavings get outside the piston or you could have problems with the cylinders becoming scored from leftover shavings.

Maybe test the coil packs...and the cam sensor you can get off any 95/96 dsm 4g63. I would check the classifieds, can't see them more than $20. I can't remember if probationary users can buy from classifieds yet though, in that case try extremepsi, rockauto, jnztuning. Or look at the list of vendors here on dsmtuners.com

My bad, just noticed you already did in the first post. Okay try testing the power transistor. Coils can be fine but if no signal from transistor then no spark.

LOL good job man you got that for $200, I would and many would buy that anyday for that, nice...On that note I don't feel bad not helping with any good advise for you :D

Na but just follow the above suggestions.
