I already have a cat-back system and the only think left to get is the downpipe and test pipe correct? What would be the best one to get for my 97 GSX. Also, where can i find guages (boost etc.). Thanks.

If you are going to use a testpipe ONLY, look at the thread below this one that has something about a MEGAN Downpipe. Cut the last 2 inches of the neckdown off and weld a flange. The total should be cheaper than if you bought one somewhere else. :thumb:

You can get normal Autometer gauges at your local Pepboys/autoparts store. For the Greddy/Apexi type gauges go here and search around for the best sites. The parts catalog is a great source for part look-up.:thumb:

Thanks guys, i was thinking about getting a 2.5" downpipe but dont know which one to choose, and im also wondering the same about what the best set of headers would be? Also, what guages do i REALLY need... i dont want to have 6 or 7 guages clustering my cockpit :D . As i posted before my tail lights and passenger headlight have water in em, so i checked on e-bay and found another set of euro-style tail lights for 80 bucks, that a normal price? Thanks again.

I got mine at RnR Racing. It's an O2 eliminator downpipe. It definitely made some good power gains, decreased spool time, and lowered the point of full boost. They are also a very good price. The only problem is they take forever to ship it out. It took about 6 weeks before mine came.

Well our cars (the turbo cars don't use headers) they use exhaust manifolds, and depending on your aplication, you can get good mileage out of your stock 2g manifold if its ported, and you want to stay with Mitsu style turbos. Past that, you can spend as much as you have for a good manifold (equal length ones can run you 400+) As far as guages, I'd say the most important 2 are boost and EGT guages, if you are going to add a bigger fuel pump, I would also reccomend a fuel pressure guage. If you need new lights I would also reccomend looking on dsmtrader, they have almost everything you could want on there.
