Ok, so I have a 2g awd w/ some d2 coilovers on. My wheels have a 35mm offset (which are getting swapped soon, hopefully)
The back end rubs on the tires over bumps on at times. I have adjusted the height of the coilovers to give me about a 2 finger gap. I swear after a day or 2 or even a week maybe a month the car starts rubbing again.
The colars are as tight as I can make them.
Anyone else run into similar problems?
I hate the fact that I have to keep adjusting these

I am having this very same problem, but on a 1G. Weird, I thought it had to do with being Macpherson strut. YOur 2G isn't that kind of setup, so maybe it's not that??? Did you ever fix the problem, I would love to know how...
