So about a month ago i installed an AEM Tru Boost and boosted my 16g to 18 lbs. Everything was fine until i started seeing sparks flying out of my exhaust. I assumed i burned through my cats and immediately went home. While driving i tried not to go over 3k. I got a block away from my house and the car died on me. So after this I had to take out my turbo because i snapped a bolt in the housing anyway and i got it out and assembled everything again. I tried to start the car but it wont start for the life of it. The battery and alternator are brand new and the starter works. So i decide to check the spark plugs. Sure enough theyre fouled up. Now i go and buy spark plugs and im able to start my car only if i give it some gas while cranking. The car sound like a lawnmower and begins to smoke out of the exhaust. The car also wont continue running unless i give it some gas. Now i check my spark plugs again and once again theyre fouled up. I have 680cc injectors, a Walbro 255, and a Safc. What could this problem be???

Did you ever fix the cataltic converter problem? Good chance it is plugging your exhaust if not. Also what are you scaling your SAFC back too, to compensate for the 680cc injectors. A 255lph with 680cc and no fuel pressure regulator is just asking to foul out plugs.

well i took one of the cats out and am running a straight pipe but the other one is still in. As for the SAFC i have a local mechanic that tunes it and do you really think that they could be fouled out within one crank? ive heard almost everything from i could of melted a piston to blown my motor, coil pack is bad, head gasket is bad. I just want to hear what it could be from a true dsm guy

ok so apparently the car starts when its cold but then shuts off when its warm...my mechanic says its probably the crank angle sensor. can anyone concur?

oh and would a crank angle sensor from a 4g64 fit a 46g3?
