canada,
All "my car won't start" discussion threads are merged HERE. We've basically made it easier for those who insist upon not searching by grouping together all threads from those with similar issues so you can just scroll through and see some possible solutions. To search for info within this thread, use the "Search This Thread" feature in the black bar about 3" above what you're reading right now.
Could be anything from a loose battery terminal to internal engine damage, and literally everything in between which may involve the electrical, fuel, and ignition system...possibly even something that you screwed up while working on the car yourself. While it's unlikely we're going to diagnose and solve your problem over the internet, feel free to discuss any possible solutions.
I live in Canada and right now its not very warm out, about -30c
my car does not have a block heater too keep it warm.
I tryed to start my car this morning and it wouldent start, ive had this problem before but this time, the car doesnt crank at all it just makes a sound that sounds like an electric drill.
Whats wrong.
Thanks

. Your first good move coming to dsmtuners for help, now it's up to you to be patient and learn your car. Just remember everything on your car is rebuildable. If its just the hg then take it to a shop and ask if you can watch everything they do. Not to be a dick about if there doing it right, but if you see something fishy speak up. More to learn your car for next time, you will be quicker to diagnosis the problem on your own. Anyway what I'm saying is try not to focus on the negative things that are in front of you now. Look past that and see the good that will come once the talon is fixed. If you do it right and take your time that beast will probably run 100 times better than before. I'll be watching this thread and if I feel I have advise I'll give it. Just from what I do know from shipping my car from Chicago to Hawaii. Once you get it fixed disconnect the battery to reset ecu (I'm sure if it is a blown hg this will be done anyway). What this will do is reset the ecu and help it relearn for the climate it's in. God bless bro and we wanna see the talon rollin thru swed real soon.
