So when I go to start my car I never have a problem getting it started however it sounds like really bad gear grinding. It does take a few times to get my car started and every time I crank it there is that grinding noise. Sometimes in between that 5 mins it sounds like a normal car cranking like the gears are in perfect mesh. Any thoughts?

post a video "car making grinding noise" isn't enough to go on, I could tell you it's starter grind and be completely wrong :p

Does your car have a 6-bolt swap or original 7-bolt?

Could be a bad starter plate, so the starter is out of alignment.

Check that.

7bolt. I will post a vid as soon as I can.

Don't exactly know how to check that.
