i think i finally burned out my clutch, so im going to get a "spec clutch". i went to speed factor's site and noticed the stage 2 and stage 3 clutches were the same price..right now i still have a t25 but will be upgrading in a month or less...so my question is, is there a such thing as having too strong of a clutch? i mean will the stage 3 grip differently from the stage 2 on a car with only the mods i have (harder shifts etc...)? i know having too big of a sized injectors can hurt a car, so can having "too big" of a clutch hurt my shifts? very noob question but please help me out!! thanx guys

In my experiences with clutches its up to you. Is this car your daily driver or a race car. In my Buddies integra he had a stage 3 clutch and it shifted alright. It wasnt smooth and reall jerky. The Clutch was really stiff. The only time you need a stage 3 clutch is if your runnin alot of horsepower. Right now since your still runnin stock but plan on up grading i would just get a good street strip clutch. But thats my own opinion.

this clutch is awesome. period. After the install it chattered during engagement. As I got used to driving the car I was able to make it do it less and less. Well, after installing motor mount inserts it doesn't happen any more at all. I guess because my motor mounts were in such bad shape that it caused it to happen. The clutch is seriously badass. Shifts are fast and spectacular when you want it to be, and still the clutch is slippable enough to drive through 27 exits worth of stop and go traffic on I-95N in CT during my recent roadtrip without much trouble.
