Squeaking noise at start.

I have a 93 talon and a few nights ago i was givin it hell and was slowin down to take a corner and i engine braked into second kinda hard and got to like 3500 rpm and something started to squeak after it a pulsing squeak that goes with the engine speed. now its there at start and sort of dies away after it heats up a little but sometimes just randomly comes back im pretty sure its not my serpentine belts they just got replaced but sat for awhile though except it doesnt really sound like them and im pretty sure its not my timing belt but could iut be my balance shaft belt its coming from in that area i want to know whta this is really bad so i can stop worrying so any help is much needed

I have the same exact problem in my 95 GS. I thought it was the serpentine belt...but maybe not if you say you just got yours replaced. Any help on this would be fantastic..becasue the noise is so loud and almost ebarassing at times.

also i forgot to add i think it might be the belt because the pulley coming off the crank rubs on the mudflap next to it when i turn really hard ive never actually heard it but i can see the grooves is the mud flap real deep could that have bent a pulley and thats whats squeaking?

Is the "mud flap" secure? It may be flexing into the pulley, rather than the other way around.

Check your alternator belt tension.

i know the pulley isnt bending out to the mudflap and that the mudflap is bending in but could that have bent hte pulley and thats whats squeaking, but the thing that gets me is that it didnt squeak until i accidentally engine braked that hard also ive heard the ABS module will; squeak at start up but i dont have ABS so its not that
