Loud squeaking noise.

I have a loud squealing noise coming from my belts i have a new serpentine belt so im not sure what it could be. There is also a ticking sound.

Your alternator and or steering belts are loose, and something fell behind your timing cover.

While you're messing in that area a good thing to check if you haven't checked it before would be your harmonic dampener.. Sounds like loose belts but you really never know with how old our cars are getting!
